Seeing is not always believing ,

I wonder why promos, articles and reviews are posted with photos of female artist / musicians. Why the writer ( i use the term loosely), uses the TnA factor.

I realize the artist participated in such a photo shoot. So often the random photo is then used to promote something entirely out of context from the photos original commission.

I’m thankful to my higher power, that I can let my hearing choose the artist/ musician verses my eyes.

Yes both photos are great, but until we choose the merits of the woman in the photo on the left, it’s the photo on the right, that will always be all that people see.

Closer than they appear

Rolling down the road
Like many days before
Never seeing past the cardboard signs
Everyday I see them as I pass them by
Wondering what made today any different than every yesterday before

She was only 3 feet tall, barely
An image in my side view mirror
Yet my rear view mirror made her 10 feet tall
Drove down around the corner
Just a second more and I wouldn’t seen her at all
mmm mmm just image in my side view mirror
Yet my rear view mirror made her 10 feet tall

So with a u-turn and a heavy heart
Put my gear in park
Wishing my few dollars could steel her from the cold dark skies
Tears filled my eyes I could barely see to drive
