at what point will people like Chris Matthews, stop waving the race banner. Alright already, so your black, so your president, can we now see the real news.
It’s so weird to see the African American guests on these talk shows, and all of them are saying what the Anchor wants to hear, but for every time a Chris, or Keith and even Rachel, say “this must be a great day for the American people, that Black Americans have a role model now, etc., “So what your saying the men and woman who sit before you, of African American descent, are not role models, have not achieved the American dream?
Get a life Mr. Matthews [I guess I am expecting too much from some one who has had 43 male role models, and countless of unnamed men who carry out their dreams, such as Sen. Ted Kennedy. I honestly think the only person in my America that could not achieve the American dream, is the person who does not apply themselves unselfishly.
May I remind all you, the media and readers, that there are past and present African Americans whom have offer themselves to service to there country [Colin Powell, Jesse Jackson and Condoleezza Rice].
Whether you are first, last or in between, a persons Ascension to success in America will not be, based on their race. It will be measured by their deeds and service to their families and if the situation warrants it, to their country.

I do realize the importance of this day. I just wonder if anyone realizes that every time some one praises our nation in harmonies chorus, that we are proud to have elected and placed in power the first African American President, that we are also admitting how bias our country has been as recent as 11:59 am today.
I also want to bring forward that at 12:01 pm nothing has changed on the streets of Harlem, the Bronx, Riverside, south bay and chitown [chicago], that unless each person of all ethic backgrounds take a similar oath, these as like many neighbors ridden with bias based plight, will not change.
We can not assume or make President Obama responsible to everyone, he is only accountable to us, up to which we should rise up, and meet him in the middle.

…to be the most palatable.
I hope to see one interview today that offers me a view of the day with out the words that describe, race and offers me words to describe all of us.
How can the media say that the young African Americans NOW have a role model. May I remind everyone (including the media), of Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Colin Powell, Jesse Jackson, and many others who, because of the same media blinded by Mr. Obama’s word (with a new spin), Have been offering the same ideas and dreams to all of us. Is it because he’s more GQ’ than the above stated, that the media has been taken in by this romance. I hope note because a divorce between the media and a public figure is usually not pretty. let’s pray for Rain.
….So call me crazy, insensitive, or even out right mean, but lets get real here. Barack Obama, is a Rainmaker, …. I am dedicating this song to Mr. Obama. I think He is very capable of taking this Nation into [another] cold war status, But please stop making him out to God, because he is not my god. he is [will be], my president.
You came riding in on the sunrise
On a hot west Texas day
With a fancy man in a painted wagon
With some fancy things to say
Looks like you folks need some water
Well water is my game
And for the small price of $100.00
I bet you I could make it rain
Step back non-believers
Or the rain will never come
Someone start that fire burning
Somebody beat the drum
He said some may think I’m crazy
For making all these claims
But I swear before this day is over
You folks are gonna see some rain
They all just stood there staring
Trying to believe
But there was one named Lizzy Cooper
Who said he was a lying cheat
She said you call yourself the Rainman
Well you ought to be ashamed
Starting all these people dreaming
Thinking you can make it rain
Step back non-believers
Or the rain will never come
Someone keep that fire burning
Somebody beat the drum
He said some may think I’m crazy
For making all these claims
But I swear before this day is over
You folks are gonna see some rain
Hey Lizzy
Well a man’s gotta have a dream
And if you can’t walk on the inside with me
I’ll meet you in between
Oh come with me Lizzy
And the stars will write your name
And if you still think I’m lying to you
Look yonder there comes the rain
Step back non-believers
Or the rain will never come
Someone keep that fire burning
Somebody beat the drum…
