What’s so difficult for you to understand? Obama presented his credentials, and they were found acceptable, and legal:

    1. To Occidental College
    2. To the U.S. Department of State (don’t claim he doesn’t have a U.S. passport after we know that his files were accessed illegally)
    3. To the National Conference of Bar Examiners, and/or the State Bar of Illinois
    4. To the U.S. Senate (every senator must undergo a background check)
    5. To the U.S. Senate again (every member of the Foreign Relations Committee must be checked for top secret clearances — Obama was chair of the subcommittee that oversees our NATO alliance, so NATO got to check him out, too)
    6. To the U.S. Department of State, again (every senator who travels overseas gets a choice of two passports, one for diplomats; that requires a further background check)

Obama’s birth certificate, valid for use in all 50 states according to the Constitution, has been displayed on his campaign website since June.

Have you been asleep since then?

C’mon over to Millard Fillmore’s Bathtub — I’ve got the lowdown on how the challenges to Obama’s eligibility don’t work.

I have not only sleep, I have read, listened and I posted this as and FYI, not Facts for evidence in trial, although some links are their due to discovery, for a pending motion.

Being a “Naturalized Citizen” as I am, I can do everything you can do as a citizen expect run for Pres. and VP.

I have a passport. It does not indicate in print, what type of citizenship I hold. If it does define type, if might be disclosed with in the bar coding, and of course the passports binding cover is blue.

Obama is a native citizen, a natural born citizen. So he’s eligible.

If you agree with all that, what’s your kick?

You’re aware that Hawaii is the 50th state, right? Obama was born in Hawaii. By birth, he is a natural born citizen.

Yes I am aware… what is funny is that you ask this question of me, when Obama was reciting a speech he mention only 47 states… anyway. the dispute is not over the state itself.

From what I have read, the country of birth was Kenya based on time line of his mothers travel and university enrollment. I guess you can’t be in two places at one time. It is not my opinion, but the orig. posting was just and FYI to my readers, who are usually in their RIGHT mind verses being LEFT behind…

when Obama was reciting a speech he mention only 47 states…

He wasn’t reciting a speech. He was speaking off the cuff, and he subtracted incorrectly, after a 14-hour day and three states. It’s called a “slip of the tongue.” And he said 57 states, not 47. What he said was he’d campaigned in all but three states — which means he’d campaigned in 47 states.

In any case, you’re making uncharitable foolishness in trying to make something of that slip.

From what I have read, the country of birth was Kenya based on time line of his mothers travel and university enrollment. I guess you can’t be in two places at one time.

That would be remarkable. I have found nothing to suggest any such travel at that time, nor have I found an iota of evidence to suggest a birth anywhere but Honolulu. The official records, kept by the hospitals and sent to the state, indicate Honolulu. If you have some contrary information, that would be dramatic — but of course, you don’t. You’re only repeating unsavory gossip you’ve heard on other blogs.

Those who dwell in gossip, in prurient conjecture, may find that stuff titillating. But it’s no more real than the plots of the soap operas.

    Stick to the facts.
