I’m glad to know the “summer(s) of my economic discontent is nearing another fall(out) media blitz(er) won’t cover bcz he’s CNN nothing as usual, and MSNBC me surfing past your website bcz the bias is too obvious for me to really take your network seriously why is Maddow wasting her over extending 15mins of fame at a POP news cycle format. I guess my expectation of a Rhodes scholar is skewed.
My overall disdain for this administration is that it is full of irony, clichés and media spin, spearheaded by cable news media “I want to run for for public office but I have skeletons in my bed” monochrome talking heads pundits.
FYI – Pundit 101:

>(expert), an expert or opinion-leader who analyzes events in an area of expertise in the popular media

In January 2010,
Chris Matthews-
“You know, I forgot he was black tonight for an hour.” (comments after President Obama’s first State of the Union Address)[1,2,3 & 4]
Chris Matthews-
“I think he’s taken us beyond black and white in our politics, wonderfully so, in just a year”
(The next day, on the Rachel Maddow show, clarified his remarks)”[5]
A turncoat is a person who shifts allegiance from one loyalty or ideal to another, betraying or deserting an original cause by switching to the opposing side or party.
In political and social history, this is distinct from being a traitor, as the switch mostly takes place under the following circumstances:
In groups, often driven by one or more leaders. When the former cause driving and benefitting the person becomes inviable or too fraught with danger.

imo – politics and religion will never be a seeds of choice nor a peaceable nations unless acceptance and disinthrallment take place among foes” -fperkins
i have a great group of FB friends that vary in personal, professional and religious backgrounds.
I have people ask me how can I be republican, I say how can I not. for every 2 1 democratic gay or lesbian friends I have 1 republican straight friend. I hope that the role I play in their lives.. in person or on the net offers them a better insight into the fact that who i am to them is a person who loves out loud, out of the closet, an though I may stumble, make mistakes they will always know who I am.
if by example my straight friends see that I have similar life experiences, school, college, graduate studies, work and responsibilities for my elderly parents I am 99% like them.
I am not a big fan of Glen Beck, I am a fan of integrity, modesty, liberty and that all of us are children of God.
So with this as my conscience, I knew that I could not speak of the rally, blog about the Rally or twitter about the rally unless I watched it. I also had to put asides my preconceptions and truly listen.
what came away with was so unexpected that I had to say is this really what I’ve been feeling and that a lot of the hopes voters pinned on Sen Obamas, as they voted him to be our president wanted but has yet to get. as a candidate Obama offered the voters hope and change
I’m just hoping I get change back at the market
so when I have FB, Twitter & MySpc friends say that guy Glen Beck is nuts, crazy etc.
I reply- did you watch C-Span? or is your opinion based on op-eds and msnbc/cnbc/cnn (further up the dial, further left the of center). I was skeptical about Sunday, but I thought hey why nat watch, and I even noted that non of the names spoke at the rally, per the broadcast segments from the above mention networks.
I feel just bcz a person bases his faith in a higher power different from yours does not make his belief any less valid. the path is just different.
I’m known by some to be odd, some I’ve not been my best with, and some with whom weren’t there best with me.

…which one are you Mr Sharpton?
re: Mr Al Sharpton claiming Mr Beck did not deliver what he said his rally would be about… hum
btw Mr Al Sharpton Beck did say that the rally was not about political positioning, there is a way to convey a parties agenda without a divide and concur approach. By using the tone of a community pastor, the words of divinity We are all familiar with from our childhood… and last offering a possibilities of hope that does not need a majority votes to keep them alive in our daily lives.

Mr Beck, never said he was MLK, what he did say, n Pl not I am not a fan of GB, but I have ears! (see previous posting).
What Mr Beck did say, is he wants our nation to embrace MLK’s dream an move forward, stop wallowing in what could be, start enacting the policies that exist now, ones MLK inspired…and doing so, We will wake up one morning hopefully in our lifespan that EVERYONE will live in a just and equal society!…
So until then if you wish to mock and insult you may, that is YOUR RIGHT.
And so in keeping with this practice you will also continue to wake up for many tomorrows that turn into days that the person standing beside you may still have to hide his opinions, his religion, gender preference traits and maybe even himself. remember policies and laws are nit promises unless they are sign, sadly too often with the blood of conflict

drill baby drill, oh wait was that….my brain thinking independant of the rest of the nation…i also just filled up the beetle at BP
at 2:25 central time the media and yes Anderson Cooper got to take a whiz break. now the medias going to spin….
these are my questions
- remember I am a republican so bare with me on my in ability to place blame
or take pot-shots at BP.
a] why didn’t this actual capping
process be used as the original
corrective measure?
b] when will the hearings start on whether or not BP is lieable for this accident?
c] I would like to know why there
hasn’t been any PRESS on the company who manufactured the drilling pipe
and seals.
d] if the cause of this ACCIDENT was forseeable via previous Inspections by bothe drilling regulator and BP internal inspection,
—– why was the drilling allowed to continue?
e] is it too hard for we as a nation who seems to thrive on tragacanth media coverage, that forming an independent opinion cause a fire storm of insult verses an actual valid rebuttel.
IMHO-
1) one of the many “rough/rednecks” may have been neglagent in carrying out their job.
—ref to the fact that they had the time to make a rap-YoU TUbe video.
2) to stop offshore drilling in the gulf due to this accident and the extend effects to the gulf/ocean….
2a] let’s stop driving (I-4 is a daily death trap).
2b] let’s stop the space program ( two shuttle explosions and 14+ astro’nts killed).
2c] let’s stop building skycrapers. (the WTC was hit twice, many other building suffer damages during earthqukes and storms…many people are displaced, harmed & killed.
2d] shut down Phillip Morris, Budwiser, cooking chickens (mama cass), & TV (they killed radio).
I’m done
thanks for reading
