In Response to this post on fellow wordpress blog: [bikerbernie.wordpress.com]- – - ” I mean advertisers are paying for their commercial time slots are they not? Nancy Grace is not giving these slots for free is she? Everyone she employs is getting paid for their time working the show right? The numbers of people who profit from her show are too many to count. I cannot help but recall the expression “People who live in glass houses . . .”
Well Said Bernie, this is my take on the same issue -
The State of Florida is wondering if Mr. Baez is benefiting from his client, via any media rights sign over. He said “No.”
The Judge Ruled that there were no existing conflict of interest regarding Mr. Baez’s representation of his client.
I think the State of Florida, needs to follow up with the local media outlets and how they have taken this issue to a whole new level of “tragedy Hype Journalism”, to promote up-coming daily broadcast and future broadcasts of nightly news.
The Local Stations have all added “Link” buttons for the “Case against Casey Anthony”, I thought is was “the State vs. Casey Anthony”.
Also who approached who, in the Z F Gonzalez vs. Anthony defamation case… Did Ms. Gonzalez call Mr. Morgan, or was it really the other way around.
and when was the last time they actually aired live taping of a deposition in progress… maybe in congressional hearings, but on a local level.
I think the local media outlets need to read the “Government in the Sunshine” statue with a less malice.
FYI -”Government in the Sunshine” statue , was devised to allow the residents of the state of Florida to see all records regarding governing officials and government meetings. it was in the 70s that the statue was amended to allow criminal and civil cases. But the law/statue also allows for exemptions…like the one that is most important – “right to a fair trial…..” lets see, the state is worried about an appeal based on conflicts regarding Mr. Baez and how he is receiving payment for services…hum I were the state I would worry more about this proceeding and the …term/definition -”Reasonable Doubt”.
I could go one for days, but I think you get my point.

Finn,
My humble thanks for referencing me on your site. That is very flattering, perhaps too much so . . .
Thanks again,

Objectivity is part of journalism, whether it be via newsprint, audio, or internet. News should not be blurred buy exposé reporting- i.e. Nancy Grace.
